Account + Sign-in

We are now giving customers the option of using their mobile phone number to sign in to their Urban Outfitters account. Using your mobile phone number instead of a password is a quick and easy way to sign in. Your security and safety are important to us and using a verified mobile phone number instead of a password helps us ensure the only person able to access your UO account is you. Plus – you won’t have to remember a password! Standard message & data rates may apply.

Currently, adding a mobile phone number to your account is optional. While doing this is optional, we really recommend it to improve the security of your account and create a more seamless shopping experience.

Once a verified mobile phone number has been added to your UO account, you will use that number to sign in and are no longer able to use a password.

Need to update your mobile phone number? No problem – sign in to your account with your email address. We’ll email you a one-time verification code to use to sign in. Once you are in your UO account, go to My Account to edit your Mobile Number.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to create a UO account with a landline or VOIP phone number. You can still shop and check out as a guest.
