A soft hand-knotted rug of New Zealand wool, the Mackintosh rug adds flair to the classic checkerboard pattern. Its mirrored design creates visual interest with a palette of smoky, rich neutrals and folk-leaning geometrics. New Zealand wool is a premium wool beloved for its softness and long fibers. Like all wools, it has a hydrophobic layer which repels dust and dirt, as well as lanolin, which provides its trademark luster and protects the fiber from breaking or shedding. A cotton foundation provides further durability.
