Urban Outfitters Opens New Store Featuring Latest Retail Concept in Des Peres, Missouri

The new location brings a refreshed design with a modern, customer-first environment focused on discovery, flexibility, and in-person shopping.

Urban Outfitters is expanding its Missouri presence with a new 7,352-square-foot store at West County Center in Des Peres. The opening brings UO’s newest retail format to the market, with an updated layout and design approach that creates a more open, flexible shopping experience and encourages customers to explore across categories. To mark the opening, UO Rewards members can receive a complimentary gift with purchase, no minimum spend required, including Des Peres custom patches and a Flower Knows hand mirror.

Since debuting in Houston in September 2025, Urban Outfitters’ new store concept has continued to roll out across key markets, with Des Peres becoming the ninth location to adopt the format in its first year. At West County Center, the concept comes to life through flexible fixtures, immersive merchandising, dedicated shop-in-shop spaces, and curated styling moments designed to make discovery feel seamless and help customers build a look from head to toe.

Opening during UO’s season shift, the Des Peres store will bring several customer-favorite “Only at UO” brands to the forefront, including Out From Under, iets frans…, Standard Cloth, and BDG Jeans. These key franchises will be featured across dedicated Lounge and Jean Shop spaces curated to make discovery and styling feel more intuitive.
