This Giving Tuesday, join us in celebrating all of the ways our UO Community gives back. From partnering with
Active Minds to provide care and mental health resources for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth, to joining the
Mama Tee Community Fridge Project in the fight against food insecurity, we’re proud to give the gift of our support...
today, and all year long.
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ACTIVE MINDS
For the second year UO is partnering with Active Minds, the
leading nonprofit focused on youth mental health. We’re donating
$50,000 to fund research supporting mental health resources
for college aged BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ students and matching
donations in stores, for a shared goal of $100,000. These
important resources will be distributed across 450+ college
campuses this winter.
Meet Our Student Advisory Board
This pioneering group of students is spearheading that latest peer to peer
resources for BIPOC + LBGTQIA+ youth.
In partnership with Mama Tee Community Fridge Project
For three years, UO has been a proud supporter of the Mama Tee Community Fridge Project, founded by Dr. Michelle Nelson. Their mission to help feed our fellow neighbors of Philadelphia through mutual aid efforts has inspired our community at UO to join them in helping combat food insecurity…through volunteering!
Our teams met at their pop-up grocery store to fill up boxes of fresh food and deliver them to the 18 community fridges all over the city. Craving to drive social impact with us? Meet Mama Tee & volunteer!
In Partnership with GLSEN
For nearly a decade UO has proudly supported the work of GLSEN, a leading nonprofit
dedicated to providing LGBTQIA+ youth with the tools they need to feel safe
and respected. To date we have donated $100,000+, and this holiday we’re donating self care
product to our local Philadelphia chapter.
