We’re proud to partner with Asian Arts Initiative, a multidisciplinary arts center offering exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, youth workshops, and a community gathering space. Connecting cultural expression and social change, Asian Arts Initiative uses art as a vehicle to explore the diverse experiences of all communities which include Asian Americans.

To kick off our AAPI Heritage Month celebration, we're so excited to feature second-generation Korean American author Monika Kim.

We'll host a reading from her award-winning novel, THE EYES ARE THE BEST PART, and get a locals-only video tour of her native Koreatown neighborhood in Los Angeles. We'll then continue to explore cultural hubs and small businesses around the country with additional episodes featuring local creatives from the AAPI community, so keep an eye on our socials to follow along!
