In 2007, Atlantic Records exec Tom Mullen took on quite a daunting task: to tell the entire history of emo. What started as a website (WashedUpEmo.com) quickly snowballed into a regular DJ night and podcast, the latter of which began to garner much acclaim. After 6 years and 100+ episodes, Mullen’s Anthology Of Emo taps into his interviews, rare collected photographs + printed ephemera to represent a history of the genre for all fans. Volume 1 includes 10 interviews with the likes of Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional), Mike Kinsella (American Football) + Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids).
