How will I know if I’ve been accepted?
Once you submit your application and connect your socials, our team will review your submission. You’ll receive an email letting you know if you’ve been selected or not at this time by March 4.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW AND OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. The Urban Outfitters Add to Story Contest (the “Contest”) is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Without limitation, these Official Rules provide for a class action and jury trial waiver and a limitation of your rights and remedies.
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta Inc. (including Instagram), TikTok, Inc, or any other social media platform (collectively, the “Social Media Platforms”).
BY SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AND PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, THE ENTRANT HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT PORTIONS OF THE APPLICATION AND RELATED SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS MAY APPEAR ON SPONSOR’S WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, AND/OR BE USED IN ANY FUTURE MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS.
Please note: all winners must be available to travel to Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, California between April 22 and April 24, 2026. First Prize winners are responsible for payment of their travel to and from Los Angeles, CA.
3b. You must be capable of traveling to and attending the prize related brand experience event in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, CA between April 22 and April 24, 2026.
3c. You must have an active, personal Instagram and/or TikTok social media account with 10,000 followers or less per account at the time you complete the Contest application, as indicated below.
Sponsor and any of its or their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, or marketing agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production execution or distribution of the Contest and each of its or their employees, officers, and directors (collectively, the “Contest Entities”), and members of their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members are not eligible to enter or win. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
4a. You must first set up a new CreatorIQ account or log into your existing CreatorIQ account at https://community.influencer.urbanoutfitters.com/connect/#start. To create a new account, you must follow the onscreen prompts to provide your email address, answer all required questions, and agree to the CreatorIQ terms of use, available at https://www.creatoriq.com/legal/terms-of-use.
4b. Next, while signed into your CreatorIQ account, complete the Contest application. To complete the application, you must review and agree to these Official Rules and the Urban Outfitters Terms of Use.
4c. Then, link your personal Instagram account, your personal TikTok account, or both through CreatorIQ to complete registration with the Contest. If you do not have an Instagram account or a TikTok account, you may create one for free by downloading the free Instagram or TikTok mobile application and following the onscreen prompts to create a free account.
Posting on Social Media
Each week, Sponsor will communicate a weekly prompt for the Contest via (1) the email address provided through CreatorIQ, (2) CreatorIQ messaging, and (3) on social media, through Urban Outfitters’ various social media pages. Once you have completed all of the steps above to set up your CreatorIQ account and complete an application for the Contest, you may post to social media following the steps below in response to the weekly prompts provided by Sponsor:
- Create a photo or video post in response to the weekly Contest prompt. The post must respond to that week’s Contest prompt, and as indicated by the dates share with the prompt, must comply with all Submission requirements listed herein, and must not show or mention any products, trademarks, logos, or labels except for those belonging to Sponsor or as directed by Sponsor.
- Then, log into your Instagram and/or TikTok account and ensure your account is set to “public.”
- Upload and share your photo or video post as a “post” or “reel” on Instagram, and/or as a “post” on TikTok, tag @UrbanOutfitters, and include the hashtags #MEatUO and #UOContest in the caption, and as onscreen text for any videos. Photos and videos uploaded as an Instagram story will not be accepted as entry into the Contest.
- You may post the same photo or video to both Instagram and TikTok, or, post different photos and videos to Instagram and TikTok, but you are limited to one (1) Instagram post and one (1) TikTok post per day as entry into this Contest.
NOTE: You do NOT need to purchase any products to enter or win.
By completing all of the steps above, the Submission requirements below, and by complying with these Official Rules, you will receive one (1) entry into the Contest. If you choose to post the same content to Instagram and TikTok, each such post will count as an independent entry, that is, sharing the same post to both Instagram and TikTok will result in two (2) entries, which will be judged independently. All components to an entry are collectively hereinafter referred to as the “Submission”. All Submissions must be received by the end of the Contest Period, and comply with these Official Rules, to be eligible for the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for any technical issue relating to the Submission, including any issues with uploading the Submission. Limit one (1) Instagram Submission and one (1) TikTok Submission per person per day throughout the entire Contest Entry Period.
Please note: By entering in this Contest, you signify and agree that your Submission and any other materials submitted in connection with this Contest may be posted on Sponsor’s website and/or other social media sites or applications associated with the Contest in a manner that is consistent with these Official Rules. Upon submission of your Submission in this Contest, you agree that Sponsor may contact you via the email address provided at the time of entry, or by naming you on Sponsor’s social media page. Normal Internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. If you are entering via a mobile device and using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply.
5a. The Submission must be an original creation of the submitting entrant. 5b. The Submission must tag @urbanoutfitters and must include the hashtags #MEatUO and #UrbanOutfittersContest in the caption, and onscreen in any videos.
5c. The Submission must comply with all Instagram and TikTok platform requirements.
5d. Entrant acknowledges, agrees and warrants that nothing in the Submission infringes on any copyrights, confidential information, trade secrets or trademarks belonging to any person or entity other than the Sponsor.
5e. Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless each of the Released Parties (as defined below), from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities and causes of action of whatsoever nature that are based upon or arise out of any breach by entrant of these Official Rules or the warranties and representations made by entrant in this paragraph.
5f.By uploading the Submission, the entrant agrees, for zero compensation, to grant to Sponsor all intellectual property rights in the Submission and each of its constituent parts, which rights include, without limitation, the Sponsor's right to publish, make available to the public and/or reproduce the Submission through any media available at any time during, or after, the Contest Period on any websites, in any promotional materials, whether related or unrelated to the Contest, and at any other location, whether physical or online, that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate and necessary for the operation and promotion of this Contest. In addition, entrant warrants that any so called "moral rights'' in the Submission have been waived and entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor may use any ideas from any Submission or other submitted materials, whether or not entrant has been awarded a prize in connection with any such Submission or other materials. Entrant agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless each of the Released Parties (as defined below) from all claims, demands, and causes of action of any nature whatsoever which entrant or entrant's heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on entrant’s behalf or on behalf of entrant’s estate, have or may have by reason of: (i) Sponsor's exercise of any rights granted by entrant in this paragraph; (ii) claims based on violation of any right of publicity or rights of personality, infringement of copyright or trademark, libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy, loss of earnings or potential earnings in connection with Sponsor's use of the Submission entry and any portion thereof, or the likeness of any natural person therein.
Submission Content Restrictions. Submissions must not contain material that:
a. Contains products, logos, or labels of any other goods or products, and may not mention brand names aside from Urban Outfitters;
b. Violates or infringes another's rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
c. Includes mention or performance of any copyrighted media production including but not limited to books, articles, photographs, artwork, music, etc., or identifying descriptions of any media property. Submissions must not include commercial music;
d. Contains material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
e. Contains reference to any unacceptable clothing or adornments, or references any commercial/corporate advertising other than that of Urban Outfitters (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, trademarks, slogans, political, personal and religious statements);
f. References indecent or unsafe behavior or situations, profanities or obscenities, including but not limited to nudity, or pornography, or is otherwise inappropriate, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, tortuous, slanderous or libelous;
g. References or displays alcohol or the use or consumption of alcohol; h. References persons without their written permission;
i. Disparages any persons or organizations;
j. Includes threats to any person, place, business, or group;
k. Is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
By participating in this Contest, entrant acknowledges and agrees that he or she will clearly and conspicuously disclose that he or she is participating in this Contest in any online social sharing interaction that references the Contest or is used to obtain entries in connection with this Contest. At a minimum, the hashtags #MEatUO and #UrbanOutfittersContest should be included in all social media communications sent pursuant to the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who does not adequately disclose his or her participation in this Contest while engaging in any online social sharing interaction during the Contest Period.
Failure of any Submission to comply with the above requirements and restrictions, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may result in disqualification of entry. Without limitation, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Submission that, in their sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Sponsor, its products or services, the Contest or any other person or entity, does not comply with these Official Rules, or if Sponsor receives a notification about any potential infringements or breaches of law or any other reason set forth herein. Submissions must be suitable for presentation in a public forum, in sole determination of Sponsor. Automated entries, entries which use or in any way incorporate artificial intelligence or any other simulation of human intelligence or process through the use of a machine or computer system (collectively, “Artificial Intelligence”), either in the creation or submission of the entry or as a part of any entry, and/or third-party entries are prohibited. Any entry that was created by using, or in any way incorporates, Artificial Intelligence, or that was created or made by a third party, will be void, and the entrant who submitted such an entry may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address or social media account. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the permitted number of entries by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, addresses, social media accounts, or any other method will void all of that entrant’s entries, and that entrant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected or illegible entries; lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware) or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Instagram account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant or participant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
The top twenty (20) entrants whose Submissions score the highest through judging will be selected as the potential Grand Prize winners, and the next seventy-seven (77) entrants whose Submissions score the highest through judging will be selected as the potential First Prize winners.
1. Attendance at the Meet Me @ UO brand experience for winner and one (1) guest, including various activities and educational programming and attendance of a concert;
2. $1,000 to be used towards travel to attend the brand experience;
3. Round trip transportation between the Los Angeles Urban Outfitters store and the brand experience location in Joshua Tree, CA;
4. All food and beverages during the two-day brand experience;
Accommodations for two (2) nights (one room, double occupancy) for winner and one (1) guest during the brand experience;
5. Various Urban Outfitters and partner merchandise.
6. Total ARV of each Grand Prize: $2,916.00.
8b. Seventy-seven (77) First Prize Winners: Seventy-seven (77) First Prize winners will each receive one (1) prize. Note: All First Prize winners must provide their own transportation to the Urban Outfitters Los Angeles store on April 22, 2026 and will be responsible for returning home from the Urban Outfitters Los Angeles store on April 24, 2026. Each prize consists of the following (collectively, a “First Prize”):
Limit one (1) Prize per person. Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of Prize not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to, transportation fees for all First Prize winners, additional meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges and/or other expenses, are the responsibility solely of winner. Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent Prize substitutions at its sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen Prizes or components of a Prize(s). Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Only the number of Prizes stated in these Official Rules is available to be won in the Contest. If, by reason of a print or other error, more Prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, an alternate winner will be selected in accordance with the winner selection method described above from among all eligible claimants making purportedly valid claims to award the advertised number of prizes available.
If Winner elects to travel or participate in the prize without a guest, no additional compensation will be awarded. All guests must be age 18 or older, and, must complete a guest release upon request from Sponsor. Winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents and any documents required to participate in the brand experience. Winner must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor or risk forfeiting Prize. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Winner is also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any Prize-related event except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Winner must comply with all travel related requirements.
In the event winner or winner’s guest engages in behavior during travel or participation in any Prize-related events that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor or any of Sponsor’s services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the travel early, and send winner and guest home with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to winner or guest (which may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, result in such winner’s disqualification from the Contest and forfeiture of Prize. In the event winner or guest engages in behavior during travel that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects Winner or guest to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by Winner or guest as a result of such conduct.
SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY TRAVEL RELATED TO THE PRIZE, OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF PRIZE WINNER’S OR GUEST’S ACCEPTANCE, PARTICIPATION IN, OR USE OF THE PRIZE.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Neither Sponsor nor anyone acting on its behalf will enter into any communications with any entrant regarding this Contest, except as expressly set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, the website, and/or the legitimate operation of the Contest; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, including force majeure events such as but not limited to strike, fire, war, terrorist or governmental action, pandemic, epidemic, widespread illness, or any other disruptive event beyond Sponsor’s control, impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor. If, for any reason, the Contest cannot be run as planned, Sponsor may disqualify any suspect entries and (a) suspend the Contest and modify the Contest to address the impairment, then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (b) award the Prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. Please note: all winners must be available to travel to Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, California between April 22 and April 24, 2026. First Prize winners are responsible for payment of their travel to and from Los Angeles, CA.
- Sponsor: The Sponsor for this Contest is Urban Outfitters, Inc. (“Sponsor”), 5000 S Broad Street, Building 18, Philadelphia PA 19112.
- Contest Period: The Contest begins on March 4, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on March 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest.
- Eligibility: The Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who meet the following criteria:
3b. You must be capable of traveling to and attending the prize related brand experience event in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, CA between April 22 and April 24, 2026.
3c. You must have an active, personal Instagram and/or TikTok social media account with 10,000 followers or less per account at the time you complete the Contest application, as indicated below.
Sponsor and any of its or their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, or marketing agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production execution or distribution of the Contest and each of its or their employees, officers, and directors (collectively, the “Contest Entities”), and members of their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members are not eligible to enter or win. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
- How to Enter. To enter the Contest, you must complete all of the following steps during the Contest Period:
4a. You must first set up a new CreatorIQ account or log into your existing CreatorIQ account at https://community.influencer.urbanoutfitters.com/connect/#start. To create a new account, you must follow the onscreen prompts to provide your email address, answer all required questions, and agree to the CreatorIQ terms of use, available at https://www.creatoriq.com/legal/terms-of-use.
4b. Next, while signed into your CreatorIQ account, complete the Contest application. To complete the application, you must review and agree to these Official Rules and the Urban Outfitters Terms of Use.
4c. Then, link your personal Instagram account, your personal TikTok account, or both through CreatorIQ to complete registration with the Contest. If you do not have an Instagram account or a TikTok account, you may create one for free by downloading the free Instagram or TikTok mobile application and following the onscreen prompts to create a free account.
Posting on Social Media
Each week, Sponsor will communicate a weekly prompt for the Contest via (1) the email address provided through CreatorIQ, (2) CreatorIQ messaging, and (3) on social media, through Urban Outfitters’ various social media pages. Once you have completed all of the steps above to set up your CreatorIQ account and complete an application for the Contest, you may post to social media following the steps below in response to the weekly prompts provided by Sponsor:
- Create a photo or video post in response to the weekly Contest prompt. The post must respond to that week’s Contest prompt, and as indicated by the dates share with the prompt, must comply with all Submission requirements listed herein, and must not show or mention any products, trademarks, logos, or labels except for those belonging to Sponsor or as directed by Sponsor.
- Then, log into your Instagram and/or TikTok account and ensure your account is set to “public.”
- Upload and share your photo or video post as a “post” or “reel” on Instagram, and/or as a “post” on TikTok, tag @UrbanOutfitters, and include the hashtags #MEatUO and #UOContest in the caption, and as onscreen text for any videos. Photos and videos uploaded as an Instagram story will not be accepted as entry into the Contest.
- You may post the same photo or video to both Instagram and TikTok, or, post different photos and videos to Instagram and TikTok, but you are limited to one (1) Instagram post and one (1) TikTok post per day as entry into this Contest.
NOTE: You do NOT need to purchase any products to enter or win.
By completing all of the steps above, the Submission requirements below, and by complying with these Official Rules, you will receive one (1) entry into the Contest. If you choose to post the same content to Instagram and TikTok, each such post will count as an independent entry, that is, sharing the same post to both Instagram and TikTok will result in two (2) entries, which will be judged independently. All components to an entry are collectively hereinafter referred to as the “Submission”. All Submissions must be received by the end of the Contest Period, and comply with these Official Rules, to be eligible for the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for any technical issue relating to the Submission, including any issues with uploading the Submission. Limit one (1) Instagram Submission and one (1) TikTok Submission per person per day throughout the entire Contest Entry Period.
Please note: By entering in this Contest, you signify and agree that your Submission and any other materials submitted in connection with this Contest may be posted on Sponsor’s website and/or other social media sites or applications associated with the Contest in a manner that is consistent with these Official Rules. Upon submission of your Submission in this Contest, you agree that Sponsor may contact you via the email address provided at the time of entry, or by naming you on Sponsor’s social media page. Normal Internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. If you are entering via a mobile device and using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply.
- Submission Requirements: All entrants must comply with the following Submission entry and content requirements.
5a. The Submission must be an original creation of the submitting entrant. 5b. The Submission must tag @urbanoutfitters and must include the hashtags #MEatUO and #UrbanOutfittersContest in the caption, and onscreen in any videos.
5c. The Submission must comply with all Instagram and TikTok platform requirements.
5d. Entrant acknowledges, agrees and warrants that nothing in the Submission infringes on any copyrights, confidential information, trade secrets or trademarks belonging to any person or entity other than the Sponsor.
5e. Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless each of the Released Parties (as defined below), from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities and causes of action of whatsoever nature that are based upon or arise out of any breach by entrant of these Official Rules or the warranties and representations made by entrant in this paragraph.
5f.By uploading the Submission, the entrant agrees, for zero compensation, to grant to Sponsor all intellectual property rights in the Submission and each of its constituent parts, which rights include, without limitation, the Sponsor's right to publish, make available to the public and/or reproduce the Submission through any media available at any time during, or after, the Contest Period on any websites, in any promotional materials, whether related or unrelated to the Contest, and at any other location, whether physical or online, that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate and necessary for the operation and promotion of this Contest. In addition, entrant warrants that any so called "moral rights'' in the Submission have been waived and entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor may use any ideas from any Submission or other submitted materials, whether or not entrant has been awarded a prize in connection with any such Submission or other materials. Entrant agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless each of the Released Parties (as defined below) from all claims, demands, and causes of action of any nature whatsoever which entrant or entrant's heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on entrant’s behalf or on behalf of entrant’s estate, have or may have by reason of: (i) Sponsor's exercise of any rights granted by entrant in this paragraph; (ii) claims based on violation of any right of publicity or rights of personality, infringement of copyright or trademark, libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy, loss of earnings or potential earnings in connection with Sponsor's use of the Submission entry and any portion thereof, or the likeness of any natural person therein.
Submission Content Restrictions. Submissions must not contain material that:
a. Contains products, logos, or labels of any other goods or products, and may not mention brand names aside from Urban Outfitters;
b. Violates or infringes another's rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
c. Includes mention or performance of any copyrighted media production including but not limited to books, articles, photographs, artwork, music, etc., or identifying descriptions of any media property. Submissions must not include commercial music;
d. Contains material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
e. Contains reference to any unacceptable clothing or adornments, or references any commercial/corporate advertising other than that of Urban Outfitters (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, trademarks, slogans, political, personal and religious statements);
f. References indecent or unsafe behavior or situations, profanities or obscenities, including but not limited to nudity, or pornography, or is otherwise inappropriate, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, tortuous, slanderous or libelous;
g. References or displays alcohol or the use or consumption of alcohol; h. References persons without their written permission;
i. Disparages any persons or organizations;
j. Includes threats to any person, place, business, or group;
k. Is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
By participating in this Contest, entrant acknowledges and agrees that he or she will clearly and conspicuously disclose that he or she is participating in this Contest in any online social sharing interaction that references the Contest or is used to obtain entries in connection with this Contest. At a minimum, the hashtags #MEatUO and #UrbanOutfittersContest should be included in all social media communications sent pursuant to the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who does not adequately disclose his or her participation in this Contest while engaging in any online social sharing interaction during the Contest Period.
Failure of any Submission to comply with the above requirements and restrictions, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may result in disqualification of entry. Without limitation, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Submission that, in their sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Sponsor, its products or services, the Contest or any other person or entity, does not comply with these Official Rules, or if Sponsor receives a notification about any potential infringements or breaches of law or any other reason set forth herein. Submissions must be suitable for presentation in a public forum, in sole determination of Sponsor. Automated entries, entries which use or in any way incorporate artificial intelligence or any other simulation of human intelligence or process through the use of a machine or computer system (collectively, “Artificial Intelligence”), either in the creation or submission of the entry or as a part of any entry, and/or third-party entries are prohibited. Any entry that was created by using, or in any way incorporates, Artificial Intelligence, or that was created or made by a third party, will be void, and the entrant who submitted such an entry may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address or social media account. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the permitted number of entries by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, addresses, social media accounts, or any other method will void all of that entrant’s entries, and that entrant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected or illegible entries; lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware) or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Instagram account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant or participant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
- Selection of Winners: Eligible Submissions will be judged by Sponsor’s review panel of judges, who will select the winners based on the following criterion: engagement rate of Submission, as determined by CreatorIQ’s engagement analysis (25%); demonstration of love and commitment for the Urban Outfitters brand and ability to express excitement and interest in participating in the Meet Me @ UO brand experience (25%); ability to respond to the weekly prompt provided by Sponsor (25%); and, ability to captivate and interest the reader through clarity and presentation quality with your excitement for the Urban Outfitters brand (25%).
The top twenty (20) entrants whose Submissions score the highest through judging will be selected as the potential Grand Prize winners, and the next seventy-seven (77) entrants whose Submissions score the highest through judging will be selected as the potential First Prize winners.
- Claiming the Prize: The potential winners will be notified by Sponsor via the email address provided at the time of entry on or about April 3, 2026. After verification of eligibility, winners must agree participate in the Meet Me @ UO brand experience and must be available to travel to Los Angeles, CA and Joshua Tree, CA between April 22 and April 24, 2026. Except where legally prohibited, each potential winner will be required to complete and return (or have their parent/legal guardian sign if potential winner is a minor in their respective place of residency), within two (2) days of being notified, an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (“Winner Release”) and provide their social security number or tax identification number for tax purposes in order to claim his/her prize. In the event Sponsor is unable to reach the potential winner after two (2) attempts, and/or after 24 hours from the first notification, or if potential winner is unable to travel to Los Angeles, CA and Joshua Tree, CA from April 22 to April 24, 2026 and participate in the Meet me @ UO brand experience, or fails to sign and return the Winner Release within the time specified, that potential winner will forfeit their right to be the prize at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and the next highest scoring Submission will be deemed the alternate winner. Sponsor reserves the right to verify all potential winners and to confirm, at their discretion, that each potential winner has complied with all requirements of these Official Rules and communicates messages or images consistent with the positive image and good will of Sponsor and related brand(s).
- Prizes and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):
1. Attendance at the Meet Me @ UO brand experience for winner and one (1) guest, including various activities and educational programming and attendance of a concert;
2. $1,000 to be used towards travel to attend the brand experience;
3. Round trip transportation between the Los Angeles Urban Outfitters store and the brand experience location in Joshua Tree, CA;
4. All food and beverages during the two-day brand experience;
Accommodations for two (2) nights (one room, double occupancy) for winner and one (1) guest during the brand experience;
5. Various Urban Outfitters and partner merchandise.
6. Total ARV of each Grand Prize: $2,916.00.
8b. Seventy-seven (77) First Prize Winners: Seventy-seven (77) First Prize winners will each receive one (1) prize. Note: All First Prize winners must provide their own transportation to the Urban Outfitters Los Angeles store on April 22, 2026 and will be responsible for returning home from the Urban Outfitters Los Angeles store on April 24, 2026. Each prize consists of the following (collectively, a “First Prize”):
- Attendance at the Meet Me @ UO brand experience for winner and one (1) guest, including various activities and educational programming and attendance of a concert;
2. Round trip transportation between the Los Angeles Urban Outfitters store and the brand experience location in Joshua Tree, CA;
3. All food and beverages during the two-day brand experience;
4. Accommodations for two (2) nights (one room, double occupancy) for winner and one (1) guest during the brand experience;
5. Various Urban Outfitters and partner merchandise.
Total ARV of each Grand Prize: $1,916.00.
Limit one (1) Prize per person. Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of Prize not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to, transportation fees for all First Prize winners, additional meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges and/or other expenses, are the responsibility solely of winner. Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent Prize substitutions at its sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen Prizes or components of a Prize(s). Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Only the number of Prizes stated in these Official Rules is available to be won in the Contest. If, by reason of a print or other error, more Prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, an alternate winner will be selected in accordance with the winner selection method described above from among all eligible claimants making purportedly valid claims to award the advertised number of prizes available.
If Winner elects to travel or participate in the prize without a guest, no additional compensation will be awarded. All guests must be age 18 or older, and, must complete a guest release upon request from Sponsor. Winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents and any documents required to participate in the brand experience. Winner must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor or risk forfeiting Prize. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Winner is also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any Prize-related event except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Winner must comply with all travel related requirements.
In the event winner or winner’s guest engages in behavior during travel or participation in any Prize-related events that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor or any of Sponsor’s services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the travel early, and send winner and guest home with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to winner or guest (which may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, result in such winner’s disqualification from the Contest and forfeiture of Prize. In the event winner or guest engages in behavior during travel that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects Winner or guest to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by Winner or guest as a result of such conduct.
SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY TRAVEL RELATED TO THE PRIZE, OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF PRIZE WINNER’S OR GUEST’S ACCEPTANCE, PARTICIPATION IN, OR USE OF THE PRIZE.
- General Conditions: Contest participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements (in any and/or all media) contained in any Contest materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Proof of sending or submission of entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize. - Limitation of Liability and Releases: By participating, each entrant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Contest; (b) release and hold harmless the Released Parties (as defined below) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including, but not limited to, negligence and damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, to persons and property, including, but not limited to, invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant's entry and/or participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activity, and acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of Prize; (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties (as defined below) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant's entry and/or participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity and/or entrant's acceptance, possession, use or misuse of Prize; and (d) allow Sponsor’s use for promotional purposes of entrant’s portrait, picture, likeness, voice, address (city/state), opinions, and name for advertising, trade and promotional purposes (including the announcement of entrant’s name) without any additional compensation, consideration, permission, or notification unless prohibited by law.

- Disputes/Governing Law: This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States. Except where prohibited, participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania or the appropriate State Court located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Pennsylvania.
- Severability: If any term or provision of these Official Rules is found under the law to be invalid or unenforceable, then such specific term or provision shall be of no force and effect and shall be severed, and the remainder of these Official Rules shall continue in full force and effect.
