Back after 3 years with their third album, Philadelphia punk band Hop Along returns with Bark Your Head Off, Dog in a double LP pressed to vinyl. Reflecting on the themes of misguided conceptions of power, anxieties from the current political society and social climate are written into the core with yet another striking set from songwriter Frances Quinlan. Self-produced and recorded in Philadelphia by guitarist Joe Reinhart, Bark Your Head Off, Dog adds to the band’s established, gritty sound with the addition of strings and harmonies layered in.
