PATCH ME

Are you going through a rough patch? Easily fix your tear or rip!

  • Decide where you want to add the patch
  • Use pins to hold the patch in place

  • Make sure the denim is clean and flat
  • Trim any frayed edges and make sure the patch covers it with a little extra around the sides

  • We love a contrast thread
  • Cut a length of thread around 18-24 inches
  • Thread your needle and tie a knot at the end
  • Double up the thread for extra strength

  • Pick your stitch
  • Start from the inside of the denim so the knot stays hidden
  • Keep stitches evenly spaced for a tidy finish

  • When you’ve gone all the way around, tie a knot close to the fabric
  • Push the needle through the knot a few times to secure
  • Trim any excess thread

  • If needed you can iron the patch area flat
  • Now your fav denim's fixed and is completely one-of-a-kind

DARN IT

Are you hanging by a thread? Easily mend your belt loop!

  • Check if the loop is torn from the fabric or fraying
  • If the fabric under the loop is also ripped... you might want to reinforce it with a small patch

  • Use scissors or a seam ripper to clean up frayed or broken threads around the loop

  • Use a pop of colour like cherry red
  • Cut a piece of strong thread (about 18 inches)
  • Thread the needle and tie a knot at the end.

  • Place the belt loop back in its original position

  • Begin from the outside of your fit - we love a visible darn
  • Push the needle through the base of the loop
  • Use small whip stitches or bar tacks to secure the loop in place
  • Make 2–3 horizontal passes, then 2–3 vertical ones for extra strength

  • On the inside of the pants, tie a strong knot
  • Snip off excess thread

MISSING BUTTON

Is life pressing your buttons? Easily reattach your fastening!

  • If your button popped off, find the original hole in the demim

  • Push the tac from the inside of the jeans outward through the hole, making sure it goes straight through

  • Align the button cap (the top part with the design/logo) over the tack's tip on the outside of the jeans
  • Hold both pieces tightly in place

  • Place the back of the tack on a firm surface
  • Carefully hammer the button cap down until it locks onto the tack
  • Use steady, firm taps and don’t hit too hard or at an angle as it could bend or break

  • Give it a tug to make sure it’s secure
  • Try buttoning up the jeans to check it's alignment
