Women's Denim Fit Guide

Straight Leg

Fitted or relaxed at the hip with a straight cut leg. A classic jeans fit that literally always works and looks good with everything. Dress them up or keep it casual with your favorite sneakers.

Barrel + Balloon

Fitted at the waist, voluminous through the thigh and tapered at the ankle. A versatile, high-volume style that turns every outfit into a statement. The perfect pair for when your go-to tee and sneakers need an upgrade.

Wide Leg

Straight through the hip and widens all the way to the ankle. The go-to jeans for vintage-inspired looks that give a naturally cool vibe. Just add a cropped tee or an oversized hoodie and you’re good to go.

Skinny Jeans

A slim, close-fitting cut from hip to ankle. Surprisingly comfortable jeans that add a Y2K nostalgic edge to every look. The perfect alternative for the days you want a break from your loose jeans.

Bootcut + Flare

A relaxed fit through the hip and thigh that opens into a flare below the knee. A retro favorite silhouette that works with both sneakers and heels. More streamlined than baggy jeans but just as comfortable.

Baggy

An ultra-relaxed fit through the seat and thigh with a loose leg opening. A must-have style for effortless, oversized everyday looks you can live in. We love them with fitted tees and cropped tops.

Statement + Embellished

Your favorite jean fits topped with unique details that range from subtle to standout. Statement jeans are the perfect way to make your outfit feel iconic. Add these to your rotation when you're bored of your regular blue jeans.

Ripped Jeans

Distressed denim with intentional tears and worn details. Ripped jeans are the easiest way to create an effortlessly cool look. They give you that perfectly lived-in, favorite-pair feeling right from the very first wear.

Men's Denim Fit Guide

Bootcut + Flare

A relaxed jeans fit with a subtle flare below the knee. A classic retro denim staple that we wear with boots and sneakers. Throw on a boxy graphic tee or a heavy zip-up hoodie up top to finish the fit.

Baggy + Relaxed

A relaxed seat, roomy thigh and loose leg opening for an oversized look. The essential jeans for leveling up your everyday style. Just add a hoodie and go.

Utility

Your favorite jean fits updated with durable details like cargo pockets, carpenter loops and knee panels. Wear utility jeans for a classic workwear look. Plus, you get extra pockets for your phone, keys, and whatever else you're carrying.

Straight Leg

A clean, straight cut from hip to hem with a relaxed seat. Straight-leg jeans are the versatile standard for a classic everyday look. If you're not sure which style to grab first, start with these and you're set.

Statement + Embellished

Bold denim with unique embellishments, strategic distressing, or graphic details. Embellished jeans are the easiest way to make a statement. Swap your everyday blue jeans for these when you want to switch things up.

Wide Leg

A roomy, wide-leg cut with a relaxed waistband. Wide-leg jeans are the best base for laid-back outfits with a cool edge. A solid option for adding some easy variety to your daily uniform.

Denim Rise Guide

Low Rise

Low-rise jeans sit low on your hips, usually with a rise below 8 inches. They give a Y2K vibe and are perfect with a cropped tee.

Medium Rise

Mid-rise jeans sit just below your belly button, featuring a rise between 8 to 9 inches. They’re the ultimate everyday comfort pair that don’t hit too high or too low.

High Rise

High-waisted jeans sit right at your belly button or higher, with a rise of 9.5 inches and up. They bring a retro-cool vibe that effortlessly gives your outfit an elevated vintage feel.

Denim Wash Guide

Light Wash

From crisp white denim to classic light blue, light-wash jeans have an effortless, carefree vibe. They're the ultimate choice for casual, sunny-day outfits.

Medium Wash

Medium-wash jeans in your favorite fit are classic must-haves. They give a perfectly lived-in feel that goes with everything.

Dark Wash

From deep indigo to solid black, dark-wash jeans are so versatile. They easily elevate any outfit when you want to add a little edge.

Denim Fabrics Guide

Comfort Stretch

Made with just a hint of stretch for comfort and fit. They’re the perfect option for moving with you all day while holding their original shape.

Rigid

Crafted from 100% cotton denim, rigid jeans start out stiff but soften up more and more with every wear. They're perfect if you want a classic look with an authentic vintage feel.

Selvedge

Premium denim woven on traditional shuttle looms with a clean, finished edge. They give you that iconic premium denim look.

How to Measure

Waist

Lay your favorite pair of jeans completely flat and measure straight across the waistband, then double that number to get your waist size.

Rise

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the crotch seam. Low rise sits below 8”, mid rise sits between 8” to 9” and high rise hits 9.5” and up.

Inseam

Measure the inner leg seam starting from the crotch down to the very bottom of the hem. Our short inseam is 30”, regular inseam is 32” and long inseam is 34”.

Denim FAQ

Do stretch jeans loosen up over time?

Yes, a little bit! Many stretch jeans can expand about half a size as you wear them throughout the day. Look for comfort stretch blends that tend to stretch out less and snap back to their original shape after a wash.

What jeans are in style right now?

We’re loving low-rise jeans in slim, flare and baggy silhouettes. Relaxed shapes and nostalgic cuts are standouts. Ultra-baggy jeans and long, full-length wide-leg styles are leading the trend for that effortless look. Ultimately, the best jeans are the ones that you love to wear.

What’s the difference between baggy and wide leg jeans?

Baggy jeans are loose and slouchy with an allover oversized fit. Wide-leg jeans fit at your waist and then flare out with a wide silhouette to the hem.

How do I find my jeans size using measurements?

Grab a pair of jeans that fits you perfectly, lay them flat and measure the waist (then double it!), the rise and the inseam. Match those numbers to our size chart and product details to find your perfect fit.

What jeans are best for petite and tall fits?

For petite jean fits, look for cropped, straight-leg, or high-waisted cuts with our short inseam of 30”. For tall fits, look for full-length wide-leg or bootcut jeans with a 34” inseam.

What does the rise mean in jeans - and which is right for me?

The rise is the distance from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband. Low rise jeans (<8”) have a Y2K look. Mid rise jeans (8”–9”) are an easy, everyday style that hits just below the belly button. High Rise jeans (9.5”+) have a secure, retro-cool fit that tucks in perfectly. Try a few styles to find the rise you feel the most comfortable in.

What is the difference between straight leg and slim fit jeans?

Straight-leg jeans fall completely straight from the knee down to the ankle. Slim-fit jeans are cut much closer to your body, gently hugging your thighs and calves for a more tailored, sleek silhouette.

How are jeans supposed to fit?

They should be snug enough around your waist that you don't need a belt to keep them up, but comfortable enough that you can sit down and move without restriction. A perfect fit should feel good to wear.
