Polaroid Go + UO: Photo Diaries
Meet the world’s smallest instant camera - Polaroid Go. Pocket-sized and built to go wherever your adventure takes you, the new camera to join their collection features double exposure, selfie mirror, and self-timer. To celebrate the launch, we’ve teamed up with @lordmyaka and @havanamcdonough to give them the opportunity to document and share their creative lives using the Polaroid Go. We caught up with them to find out more.
Where did you go on your Polaroid Go adventure?
I took the Polaroid Go to cosy cottage roads, rustic forests and my favourite beach to capture some awesome outfits and scenery.
Why do you love to document your memories with film?
I love to document memories with film because the physical copy means more than the generic digital copy. Phones, laptops and social media with an overflowing news update every minute, means technology can be stressful. Whereas a little picture in hand allows me to focus and remind myself of the good energy and memory captured, with nothing else getting in the way! I also think there is such beauty in plastering your wall or journal with amazing memories rather than it being on a hard drive.
Tips for using the camera:
1. Face the light, that way the camera can pick up more details for your beautiful image.
2. Close ups are a little more defined, so get that makeup look poppin!
3. A lighter space can be handy for highlighting brighter colours.
Where will you take your Polaroid Go next?
I will be venturing into London with the Polaroid Go to capture some amazing dinners, walks, style adventures and memories with my Bff to make up for all the lost time.

I prefer film to digital any day of the week. It’s timeless, nostalgic and exciting. The process of taking a photo without it instantly showing up and allowing you to take another within a second is much more intriguing to me.

It’s so straightforward! Polaroid made it even easier to bring their camera around and get the look only they can provide. My only advice is to make sure you have it whenever you leave the house.
