Find Your Escape With Master Peace
This summer is all about finding your freedom in the everyday. We’re here to help you unearth your personal escape, because nobody’s escape is the same. We caught up with South London based musician, Master Peace @masterpeaceldn, to find out how he uses music as an outlet for escapism.

Escapism to me is... when I’m feeling down or feeling lost in life I will just go and listen to some music to get me through things. I feel like music personally in my life has got me through a lot of things I've been through while I was growing up.
Escapism is about... letting go of all the stress in my life and appreciating the good stuff that I get to do on a daily basis !
How do you find freedom in the everyday?
I find freedom in my music and I literally use it as my journal and let the world hear my experiences.
What’s your daily routine to keep you grounded?
Listening to music is a must, full volume literally blasting that! And hanging out with my mates in the studio.
What are your other creative outlets?
I play guitar sometimes or do fitness exercises.
Feel-good accounts you follow:
I follow Musicians that inspire me like my favourite band The 1975.
What recently has helped you keep focused and creative?
Knowing that I know I can make it if I put my mind to it.
Best advice you’ve been given… never take your foot off the gas!
What are your plans for the summer?
Live shows and new releases.
What is on your ultimate escapism song?
Remi Wolf & Dominic Fike - Photo ID. It’s very nostalgic and puts me in such a good mood.
