Inspired by the 1937 comic Sheena, Queen of The Jungle, Chen draws on the courage and perseverance of its heroine to set the tone. The vivid lime references the bright greens of the tropical rainforest setting, while the marbled, free-flowing silhouettes of the soft fluorescents create a sense of lightness and grace.
Chen's signature airy cuts are strengthened with multi-panel stitching and matched with hand-printed pleated fabrics to create a unique psychedelic vibe.
