What’s it about?
Broadcaster, interiors fanatic & food lover Laura Jackson who is always the host and never the hosted, speaks to guests that also do the hosting, to speak about all their hosting secrets, go to holiday destinations, fave lowkey restaurants, best vintage furniture finds etc.



Why listen to it?
It’s such a chilled podcast, it just feels like you’re a fly on the wall in a coffee shop, listening to people’s conversations. She also speaks to some really interesting people such as Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine and Stacey Dooley. Perfect for slightly nosey people who love to get a peek into people’s lives, also just a great podcast to have on in the background.



Anything else we should know?
The Jessie Ware episode is hilarious and a really good listen.

Stories of people who've done wrong, been wronged, or gotten caught somewhere in the middle. 20 minutes of strange true crime stories, great if you love darker / grittier content.



Why listen to it?
Such an interesting listen, hearing about the darker side of life. All very random so it never gets boring!

The right level of gore, even for the faint-hearted!

This podcast is funny, intriguing and really opens your eyes to things you’ve never considered before.



Anything else we should know?
The Snapchat Thief and The Case of the Missing Hit are two of my favourite episodes! Couldn’t recommend this podcast enough.

What’s it about?
99% Invisible is about all the thought that goes into the things we don’t think about — the unnoticed architecture and design that shape our world. Hosted by Roman Mars. Sounds dull but it's amazing if you’re into it!



Why listen to it?
It’s really interesting as it makes you realise how small design decisions affect people all over the world.



Anything else we should know?
Every year they release two editor’s short stories that never made it to the podcast, but are so entertaining and usually a bit weirder!
99% Invisible
The High Low


What’s it about?
A pop-culture/news podcast by journalists Pandora Sykes & Dolly Alderton.



Why listen to it?
Super fun commentary on all topics, both high-brow and lowbrow!



Anything else we should know?
This podcast series is both enjoyable, informative and particularly great for feminists. They are on maternity leave at the moment, but if you haven’t listened before there’s tonnes of brilliant episodes to indulge in! It’s really great for new book recommendations.

What’s it about?
The Shrink Next Door is the story of one therapist’s psychological manipulation as he crossed lines and defrauded his patients — and he’s still out there.



Why listen to it?
It’s a wild story that needs to be heard to be believed. Really good series if you’re looking for a bit of escapism, it’s well edited and the story really sucks you in.



Anything else we should know?
If you like a Netflix true crime doc, this one’s for you.
