Meet Reskinned
Reskinned are a London-based takeback and resale platform helping to keep clothing in circulation for longer.
Through the Urban Outfitters Takeback Programme, you can send back unwanted Urban Outfitters items and receive a discount code to spend online at Urban Outfitters UK.
Every item sent to Reskinned is carefully sorted and given the best possible next life. Depending on its condition, it may be resold, reused or recycled.
How It Works
Taking part is easy.
Step 1: Register Your Takeback
Visit the Urban Outfitters Takeback portal and add the Urban Outfitters items you'd like to return to your Takeback basket.
Step 2: Pack It Up
Package your items and get them ready to send.
To help reduce waste, we encourage you to reuse any delivery boxes or mailing bags you already have at home. Packaging from other retailers is absolutely fine, as long as it's clean and sturdy enough for the journey.
Step 3: Send Your Items
Drop your parcel off at your chosen drop-off point.
Step 4: Receive Your Reward
Once your takeback arrives, Reskinned will verify your items and email you a discount code for all qualifying products.
Step 5: Shop Again
Use your discount code online at Urban Outfitters UK while your old items begin their next chapter.
How Do I Send My Items?
Once you've completed the takeback form, you'll be able to choose either a print-at-home label or a print-in-store option.
You'll receive either:
- A print-out shipping label by email
- A QR code to use at your local drop-off point.
What Condition Do My Items Need To Be In?
Any condition.
Reskinned accept eligible Urban Outfitters items regardless of wear and tear.
As long as the item is an eligible product, you'll receive the full takeback value for that item type, no matter its condition.
What discount will I receive?
You can receive a maximum voucher value of £10 per takeback submission when you spend £50 or more.

Takeback Rules:
1. Reskinned accept clothing, footwear, bags and accessories purchased Urban Outfitters.
2. We are currently unable to accept your takebacks in store as part of this programme.
3. The maximum redemption value per takeback is £10.
4. The following minimum spends apply when using your discount code:
5. £10 takeback voucher code when you spend £50 or more.
6. Takeback voucher codes are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
7. We only accept takeback voucher codes online at this point.
8. Takeback voucher codes cannot be used to purchase gift cards and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
9. Takeback voucher codes must be entered at urbanoutfitters.com to redeem.
10. Takeback voucher / discount codes cannot be honoured retrospectively if the code is not entered at time of purchase.
11. Only UK customers are eligible to participate in the Urban Outfitters takeback programme.
12. Takeback Voucher codes are for one time use only, if you return items purchased using a voucher code no further use of the credit will be permitted.
13. If you include multiple takeback items, you will receive a single voucher code for the full amount, not separate voucher codes.
When Will I Receive My Voucher?
As soon as your items arrive at the Reskinned warehouse, the team will verify that the products received match the details provided during your submission.
For example, if you selected "top", they'll simply confirm that an eligible Urban Outfitters top has been received.
Once verified, your unique discount code will be sent directly to your inbox.
Where Can I Use My Discount Code?
Your discount code can be redeemed online at Urban Outfitters UK.

What Happens To My Items?
Every item received by Reskinned is hand-sorted and assessed based on its quality and condition.
Resale
Items in good condition are prepared for future resale drops through Reskinned.
Before being listed, items are:
- Ozone cleansed to help remove odours and bacteria using a low-water, environmentally conscious process
- Repaired where needed by Reskinned's in-house repairs team
- Photographed and prepared for resale
Reuse
Items that can still be worn but may not be suitable for online resale are given another opportunity to be loved.
These may be:
- Sold through pop-up shops
- Supplied to emerging designers and university students creating upcycled collections
- Directed into alternative resale markets
Recycle
Recycling is a key part of Reskinned's circular model.
Reskinned work with recycling partners.
Different materials are processed through different recycling streams. For example, cotton garments may be transformed into mattress insulation through partners such as Cotton Lives On.
