Placing a Web Order
When you see an item you like, click on "Add to Bag" and continue shopping until you are ready to complete your purchase. Then, click on the Shopping Bag, located at the top right section of the screen. Click "Checkout" to confirm your items. After you have made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, click on "Place Your Order" to finish.
Please review your order carefully before placing it. Once your order is submitted, we are unable to modify or cancel it.
Please note we are unable to ship certain home items, beauty items, gift-boxes and other select items internationally. These items will have a notation in the online details and in your shopping bag. These items may be removed from your order prior to shipment. You will not be charged for the removed items.
All prices are displayed in US Dollars. Your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate automatically.
For your protection, we require that the billing telephone number and the billing address match the address that is on file with the credit card issuing bank.
International orders can be shipped with Duties and Taxes due upon delivery via our Standard or Economy ship methods, or with Duties and Taxes prepaid via our Express method. Simply make your selection during checkout, we'll handle the rest. Orders shipped via Standard or Economy will be delivered by your local postal agency. Rates by service type are listed below.

Duties and Taxes
Orders shipped via Express will not incur duties and taxes at delivery. These fees are included in your online shipping total.
Orders, shipped via Standard or Economy, can incur duties and taxes. Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the Tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you ordered! You can return or exchange any unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise. Returns made within 30 days of the shipping date will be refunded to the original form of payment. After 30 days, an E-Merchandise Credit will be sent via email.
Follow these steps if you would like to make a return:
- Fill out your Return form and place it in your secure shipping container.
- Make sure that there are no other shipping or tracking labels attached to your package.
- Use a trackable and insured shipping method. We cannot accept COD returns. Please note: Urban Outfitters is not responsible for any returns that are lost or stolen while in transit.
- Include your order number on the return label.

We'll email you once your return or exchange is processed. If you would like to make an exchange, please keep in mind that the shipping fees outlined above will be applied. Any shipping fees associated with making returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.
You may also return merchandise you ordered online or through our catalog to any of our stores located in the United States and Canada. We are unable to accept online returns in our European locations at this time.
Most returns that are sent back to our facility will process approximately 2-3 weeks from the time you mail your return. For returns made within 30 days of the shipping date, a refund will be credited back to your original pay method and will post 1-3 business days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. If your return is made after 30 days of the shipping date or if your purchase was made with a Gift Card, an E-Merchandise Credit will be sent via email for the refund amount.
If you have indicated that you are returning a gift, we will send a Gift Card for the value of the refund to the address you specified on the packing list.
If you used PayPal as your payment method and want credit back to your PayPal account, you must return your merchandise via mail to the address above for a refund. Our U.S. and Canadian stores will only issue a Merchandise Credit for online returns purchased with PayPal.
For exchanges, a second email will be sent once we've processed your new order. We are unable to guarantee that exchange merchandise will be available at the time your order is processed; in these instances your original form of payment will be refunded.
